A BRIEF HISTORY

I've been a stage and event lighting designer for some twenty odd (literally!) years.

I worked for various lighting companies in London and did a stint for a year as the house Lampie in the venerable Marquee Club, in both Wardour St and Charing Cross Rd.
 

In my time I've done lights for Placedo Domingo, Motorhead, and pretty much everybody in-between, and to be frank, It's ruining my nails!

So I'm branching out!

    Web design is safer anyway. I've yet to hear of anyone involved with web/graphic design spending the majority of their working life 30feet in the air, upside-down, holding on with their teeth, while some bozo screams unintelligible instructions at them!

Getting back to the story, I came to Dublin in 1989 to do some work with a band (Something Happens) and just never went home.

I'm still living in Dublin and available for lighting design work, both here and abroad.  I'm a fully qualified Vari*lite service engineer, and when pushed, they're definitely my moving light of choice.

 

And that's about it really, or as much as I want to divulge, and, to be frank, as much as any sane person would want to know.
